8 MARCH 2011 - NEW YORK, NY - Wizard World, Inc. announced the immediate availability of its magazine on iPad through the Wizard World iPad application, developed by Zaah Technologies. The app brings Wizard World magazine's first looks and fresh ideas from the world of fantasy, sci-fi, horror and more to the iPad. "Apps like Wizard World are the future of publishing and we're embracing it." said Gareb Shamus, Chief Executive Officer of Wizard World, Inc. (WIZD), who says Zaah Technologies was the company's first choice in developing the reader application. "We can reach millions of fans worldwide in a more direct way and more frequently, with new issues available on a weekly basis for free. The limitations that come with print media no longer exist, and it's something to be really excited about." In addition to the new online publication Wizard World, the company Wizard World, Inc. (WIZD) is a producer of Comic Cons and pop culture conventions across North America. These events feature celebrities from movies and TV, artists, writers and events such as premieres, gaming tournaments, exhibitors, retailers, panels, and costume contests. The Company began its 2011 Comic Con Tour in New Orleans in January 2011, and has scheduled 12 other Comic Cons in 2011 in large cities such as Anaheim, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Austin, and Boston.
